Required Documents

Below is a list of all of the documentation that you'll need for the application process. All of our documents are available in a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format below. If you don't have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer please download it for Free!

As an alternative you can download the entire application process and documents in our downloads section of this website.

Should you have any questions or concerns or are having problems with the above noted process please Contact IPR and we'll be sure to assist.

By Email:

  1. An up-to-date resume (Cover letter is optional)
  2. A scanned picture of yourself (a recent picture with you being the only person in it)
  3. A scanned copy of the picture page of your passport

By Fax:
  1. IPR Applicant Service Contract
  2. IPR Medical Self Evaluation Form

By Mail:
  1. Your original degree
  2. Two (2) Original transcripts (Must be Official & Sealed Separately)*
  3. Two (2) Photocopies of your passport picture page
  4. Four color passport sized photos (no more than 6 months old)**
  5. Copies of any relevant Teaching/TESOL certificate(s)
  6. Criminal Records Check***
  7. Korean Immigration Medical/Interview Form
  8. Two copies of the signed employment contract**
  9. A money order for $230 CAD for all notarizing and Fed-ex fees. Please note: that this does not include the application fee for your work Visa, which will be paid directly to the Korean embassy/consulate in your area.

*You must order Three (3) transcripts - Two (2) will need to be sent into our office for visa processing while the 4th one will be kept by you and used with at the Korean embassy directly with you as a final verification in the visa process.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure that you inform the university that the transcripts must be sealed individually and not all in one envelope. Additionally should your university only send them to the employer you can have them sent directly to IPR, but be sure to inform your employment consultant that they are being sent direct.

** You must have Six (6) pictures- four (4) will need to be sent into our office for visa processing while the other 2 will be kept by you. One will be used when you apply at the Korean embassy/consulate directly for your Visa and the other will be needed when you arrive in Korea.

***The criminal records check must be issued within the last 3 months either by the RCMP, a municipal or Provincial police detachment, and MUST include a "Vulnerable Sector Query" For more information on what is required click here.

**** You can omit this from the documents that you need to send in until you have a confirmed job as this can be undertaken via fax at a later date. Sending in the rest of the required documentation will allow the process to go quicker once your job has been confirmed
