Over the past few years short term English camps have become quite popular in Korea.
They generally happen at 2 points during the year - in the summer and in the winter and last from anywhere between 3-6 weeks.
- A great way to have a short term experience in Korea;
- A very fun atmosphere generally with lots of activities;
- Can be well paid with accommodation supplied for the duration of the camp.
- Can be very fast paced and sometimes seem very disorganized;
- Potentially full of workplace politics between Korean and Foreign staff;
- Can be very confusing for people who have never worked in Korea before.
Preferred qualifications: A Degree from an accredited university with a strong preference on previous English teaching experience (more often than not Korean experience).
Please Note: IPR only hires candidates with teaching experience or a TESOL certificate with preference given to people who have had experience working within the Korean system.
